Aventura, Wisin Y Yandel, Akon All Up To You
Last week Bachata stars Aventura teamed up with Akon along with Wisin y Yandel to shoot a video in Miami for their blazing new single "All Up to You,". "Working with Akon, it was an experience," Aventura frontman Romeo told MTV News from the video set. "We've never worked with an artist this huge." According to Romeo, it was Akon who first approached the Bronx, New York-based foursome about working together. And when we asked Akon if we could expect to see more of these collaborations, he said it was only the beginning.
"I think you're gonna see a lot more of that kind of collaboration between the whole hip-hop, R&B and the Latino community," Akon said at last month's Billboard Latin Music Awards, where he performed the song live. "We were always connected, we just never actually worked together. There are also a lot more hot collaborations on the horizon. Aventura, for instance, have teamed up with Ludacris and Wyclef Jean for a track called "Spanish Fly" on their next album, The Last, which drops on June 9.
Reggaetón giants Wisin y Yandel, whose new album, La Revolucion, drops late this month, say the growing Spanglish trend is a natural evolution as urban music becomes less about language.

My Fashion Icon goes Blonde!!
Kim Kardashian has gone from her signature Black Hair to Honey Golden Blonde locks. I love it! Her hair looks exactly like mine from the base color to the highlights to the loose curls. I'm known for my signature Honey Caramel Blonde hair with the loose curls and Bronze Skin. I'm glad she opted for a change since Summer's right around the corner and Blonde hair with tan skin gives off that hot Latina Miami Glow!

Battle of the Bangs
Bangs are all the rage this spring especially with celebs! Everyone from Beyonce Knowles to Jennifer Lopez is rocking them. While Jen's wispy bangs complement her new layered do perfectly, Beyonce has been out and about sporting blunt bangs with her stick-straightened locks. I think both looks are fab, but for some reason I dig that Beyonce's bangs give her an edgier style. I only wish I had enough guts to cut my bangs back in, but it took me waaaaay too long to grow them out in the first place! I don't think I have the patience to go through that again. If only I had my own personal stylist...

Sandra Cantu Rest In Peace Angel
I wanted to share with you all this tragic news that has touched my heart and made me shed quite a few tears. On Monday morning, after a 10 day search, authorities have identified the remains of missing Northern California eight year old Sandra Cantu found stuffed into a suitcase recovered from a pond.
What is going on in this world? Why would anyone hurt an innocent child? Everyday we hear more and more disturbing news regarding the disappearance and murders of innocent children. When is this going to come to an end? I hope they find the person responsible for this reprehensible act and bring them to justice. Horrible situations like this should make us all pause to think about what is truly important in our lives. My prayers and condolences go out to the family of this beautiful little angel, may she Rest In Peace.
